It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wanda LaPointe on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the age of 75.

Wanda was a passionate woman that loved her family dearly, lived life how she wanted, and loved a good debate! It is comforting to know that she will be reunited with the many pets she has cherished over the years. Her family would like to thank her Calgary friends for the companionship they have provided in her last years, particularly Laura and Heather. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She leaves behind her husband of 54 years, Alex LaPointe; her son Rod LaPointe (Caroline); brothers, Peter Fournier (Pat), and Dale Fournier (Linda); sister Lee Fournier (Wally); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
