It is with great sadness that I have to announce that I have lost you Tom, the love of my life and my heart which is now full of sorrow and deep love for you.

Tom will be greatly missed by myself Tom's wife Janet; his many friends, and his sister Ann and her family.

Tom lived life to the extreme. He loved music and history and greatly appreciated all of his friends and life itself. He was an outdoors kind of guy that was very proud of his boy scout days and being out with nature in the woods.

Unfortunately, you got sick and we were devastated. This sickness eventually won the fight over Tom.

I will never forget you my love and you will always be with me deep in my heart and my head I am praying that you will continue to guide me, look out for me, and help me embrace life to the fullest. Since you passed all I've done is listen to music and I feel that's a gift you've implanted in me again, thank you for that my big wonderful larger-than-life Scotsman!

Tom was born in Clydebank Scotland and emigrated to Calgary in 1985 at the age of 28.

I had a Greek party in my backyard in 1997 and a friend brought you along, we fell in love and you never left. We were married less than a year later and enjoyed almost 25 years together.

Tom loved selling cars for Honda and meeting nice people. He was a very outgoing boisterous man who was brutally honest and funny too.

Our life together was never boring and I would live it all over again with you my love Tom.

Unfortunately, you were taken away from us all earlier than we all hoped - too soon - but maybe God has other bigger plans for you.

I will miss you always and I will never stop loving you and treasure every day that we shared together.

You will always be with me in my heart.
