Rasmussen, Sina Agnete of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully at the Southwood Care Centre on Monday, January 8, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Sina was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on September 23, 1937. She made Canada her home in 1960, and met her husband Poul at the Viking Sports Club in Calgary, in the spring of 1961. Sina dedicated her life to building and shaping her family, which was her greatest joy and deepest treasure.

Sina is survived by:

- her five children: June (Darcy) Samulak, Jan (Carol Hawkwood) Rasmussen, Cindy (Charles) Christopher, Kim (Richard) Deane and Paul (Toni) Rasmussen;

- her precious grandchildren: Thomas, Claire, Paula, Ben, Jacob, Julia, Kara, Graham, Stefany, Ian, Ben, Josh and Brody;

- as well as her siblings, Chris (Barbara) Havstein, and their daughter, Nancy, in Canada and Hannes (Birthe) Havstein in Denmark;

- and many other nieces and nephews.

Sina was predeceased by Poul, her adoring husband of 51 years, and her siblings, Gunnar and Ragnhild in Denmark.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Danish Lutheran Church Calgary ( 210-10 Avenue NE ) on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. with pastor Charlotte Berg officiating.

A heartfelt thank you, to the dedicated and loving staff of the Southwood Care Centre, who skillfully cared for Sina during her time living there.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Danish Lutheran Church in Sina's name would be greatly appreciated.
