Shirley Arlene Neufeld (nee Haggerty) passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the age of 66 years, after a 16-month battle with cancer and will be missed greatly as she was loved by many.

Shirley began life in Keoma, Alberta, on July 31, 1956. She was born to Lorne and Stephanie Haggerty and lived there for the first eighteen years of her life. She is predeceased by her parents; and brother-in-law Robert Holmes. She is survived by her husband Gerald; and children, Colin (Jessica) Neufeld, and Lisa Achtemichuk; and five grandchildren, Tiernan, Liam, and Sadie Neufeld, and Emma, and Gavin Achtemichuk. She is also survived by her three sisters, Donna (Robert) Holmes, Laura (Hugh) Adams, Helen (Michael) Hagel; brother Allen Haggerty; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

She spent many hours golfing, which was her favorite pastime with her husband Gerald. When not golfing, she loved visiting with friends, gardening, reading, and crafts. She also enjoyed travel and was fortunate enough to see a considerable part of the world.
