It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Margaret Geldart. After a courageous battle with cancer Sandra passed away at the age of 78 on September 6, 2022, at the Intercare Chinook Hospice in Calgary, Alberta.

Sandra was born in Edmonton but she and her husband settled in the Caroline, Alberta area for many years.

Sandra is predeceased by her husband Evans Geldart, Mother Edna Ankle, Stepfather Jim Ankle, sisters Jean Leeson, Sharon Smith and grandson Brandon Rybak.

Sandra was born in Edmonton. Alberta on August 5, 1944. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She loved her pets, spending time with the family and taking care of her flowers.

Her memory will live on in her children, Kathy Davies and Brad (Bonnie) Rybak, grandchildren Matthew Davies, Kristin Davies, Sarah MacDougall, Breanna (Brad) Larson and Brynn (Jason) Bentum and her great grandchildren Justin Davies, Hunter Ferriss, Remy Larson, Mari Larson, baby Bentum on the way and her younger sister Frances Ankle.

Thank you to all the wonderful nurses and caregivers at the hospice. You took very special care of her and brought her joy in her last days.
