Rowena Newberry passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the age of 75, at Mayfair Care Centre.

Rowena Newberry worked as a teacher, a dog trainer, a lifeguard, a fitness instructor, an NGO administrator, a Red Cross/Crescent earthquake camp coordinator, and a carer for the elderly. Her experiences saw her live in Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia.

Rowena is survived by her two daughters: Fenella Newberry (Craig Hopp) and Natasha Newberry (Jeremy Walls). She is also survived by her cousins: Tessa Sauven (David Sauven), Lindsay Norton (Simon Norton), and Adam Sherriff (Mary Sherriff). Rowena was predeceased by her parents, Shirley and Arthur Williams, and her brother, Geoffrey.
