With a heavy heart, after a brief battle with cancer, Ronnie rejoined most of his family on May 2, 2022, at Mayfair Care Centre in Calgary, AB, at the age of 87 years.

He was born to the late Peter and Julia Duchak in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. He was predeceased by his brothers Ernest (Ernie), Frank, and William (Bill); sister Frances; daughter Julia Rose; and great-granddaughter Isla. He is survived by daughters Ann (Dale), Linda, and Victoria (Ian); son Ronnie (Gail); sisters Elsie (Morley) Voss, and Patricia Kolida and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place at Simply Crematiotions in Calgary, AB per his request.

Inurnment will take place at a later date in Portage la Prairie, MB.
