Roger Lauzon born in St. Albert Ontario, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2026 in Calgary AB Hospice with his longtime love and companion Shannon Buzan by his side.

Roger grew up on a farm and carried a strong work ethic throughout his hardworking years as a roofer. He lived simply, finding joy in his everyday life.

He loved cold beer, watching movies, playing pool, listening to 80's music and reading gangster books. Known for his big laugh, playful childlike ways and strong French accent, Roger left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Beneath his tough exterior was a kind heart.

Roger adored his dog Harley, feeding squirrels and watching out the window for his bird Peek-A-Boo . He cherished Sunday calls with his mother. Also, enjoyed picking lilacs for Shannon, a simple gesture that showed his deep affection and thoughtful nature.

He will be remembered as a loyal companion and someone who could always make others laugh. Roger will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
