With broken hearts and much love, we share the passing of Raymon Edward Kemp on March 5, 2021 in Calgary, Alberta.

Raymon was born on April 1, 1940 at Misericordia Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He will be forever remembered and missed terribly by Judith Mae, his wife of 55 years; his daughter who thought the world of him, Marnie Michelle; and his cherished grandchildren Rayann and Nicholas. Raymon is also survived by his older brother Cyril (Jean) (Natalie); younger sister Debbie (Robert) (Chris, Cory, Sandy, Cameron, and Noel); and his younger brother Rick. He was p redeceased by his father Percy; his mother Kay; and his sister Bobbie.

Raymon had many stories to tell of his different careers over the years, from his first job at a butcher shop, to being held up at gunpoint twice during his days at various credit unions in Winnipeg. In 1977 he joined CP Hotels as an accountant/controller from where he would retire in 2005.

Raymon loved to travel and had enjoyed many trips over the years with friends and family. Hawaii, Cayman Islands, California, and Las Vegas were some of his favorites, but his destination of choice would always be Palm Springs where you would find him on the golf course. Raymon's love of golf kept him busy through his retirement. Not only swinging his clubs, but marshalling at Country Hills Golf Course, McCall Lake and Confederation Golf Course. One of his dreams came true on July 11, 2013 when on the 17th hole at McCall Lake he hit a hole in one.

Raymon's warm and funny personality came through to everyone who knew him. He was always happy to stop and have a chat, a cashier in a grocery store or a long-time friend, Raymon had time for everyone and cherished all of his closest friends and family. He had a great sense of humor and always made us laugh. He enjoyed playing cards and definitely had a competitive side, not even letting his grandkids win. He enjoyed sudoku and would sit and do it for hours, but he would admit that he was not so good at directions.

Raymon was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. You will be forever in our hearts, until we are together again.
