Racquel was born in Kelowna, BC to parents, Sheila and Glenn on October 20, 1998.

After a tough first few weeks of her life in a Vancouver Children's Hospital she returned to Kelowna. At home, Sheila took great pride in teaching Racquel, amongst their many play filled trips to the park. And with her encouragement the family was amazed at Racquel's early academic achievements.

The family made the move to Calgary and eventually High River where Racquel spent much of her childhood. Her love of animals and the arts, especially comedy, blossomed in her rural surroundings with times horsing around and cracking jokes with her bother Colby. In her later teen years, she moved up to Calgary and eventually found herself a next door neighbour to her dad. They would spend much time laughing, discussing life and books she read.

Racquel had a tremendous heart and touched many of the lives of those she knew and knew her. She never asked for much and gave whenever she could. She loved her cats and dedicated much time to their care. Racquel was taken from us much too early. But her shining aura, surprising antics, mischievous smile, and caring heart will be remembered forever.
