It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Nicholas Spencer Valeri of Calgary, on Friday, February 3, 2023, at the age of 63 years.

Nick was born in Calgary on October 30, 1959, to parents Patricia and Otto Valeri. He graduated from Crescent Heights High School in 1977 and then attended the University of Calgary for a few years. Nick had aspirations of becoming a doctor, but his life path had other plans.

Nick was kind, generous, and respectful. He was humble and would never have consented to this praise. He loved to read, and take walks, was a wonderfully talented artist, and dreamed of becoming an architect.

Nick will be missed by his Family and Friends.

A celebration of Nicholas's life will be held at Simply Cremation and Funeral Services, 5502 - 2nd Street S.W., Calgary, on Thursday, February 16th at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends ask that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Nicholas's name to the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta at www.schizophrenia.ab.ca.
