Mike Wiwad passed away peacefully at the Foothills Country Hospice on Thursday July 2, 2020 at the age of 85 years old. Predeceased by his wife Irene Wiwad, (nee Neisz). He is survived by his daughter Lesli Lorincz, Keremeos BC; his son Cam Lorincz, Vernon BC; his grandsons, Rio Copeland, Lake Country, BC; Kyle Lorincz, West Kelowna, BC; and Taylor Lorincz, Kelowna BC; his sister Marg Presisinuk (Mac), sister-in-law Rose Wiwad and his many nieces and nephews all from the Edmonton area.

Mike will be fondly remembered for his love of sports, especially hockey, his dry and sometimes awkward sense of humor, and his quiet, loving demeanor. Always the protector, provider, and confidant, he will lovingly live on, in our memories, thoughts and prayers.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations to the Foothills Country Hospice Society, or the Alberta Heart and Lung foundation.
