Merle Carol Cassidy passed away on January 18, 2020 at the age of 83 years. She was born in Montreal and was happily married to Neil Cassidy for over 55 years.  Merle was a homemaker and very active in Wesley United Church, Bedford Baptist Church and McKenzie Towne Church. Merle is survived by her dearest sons Glenn Fraser Cassidy and Clifford Neil Cassidy; grandmother to Aidan Cassidy, Liam Cassidy and Kaitlyn Cassidy. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Neil Morton Cassidy; her brothers Frederick Clifford Fraser and Leonard Bruce Fraser. A Celebration of Life will be held at McKenzie Towne Church on March 7, 2020 at 2:00pm.  If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to McKenzie Towne Church or Wesley United Church. The family wishes to thank Revera McKenzie Towne Retirement Home for all of their hard work and care.
