With gratitude for a life well lived, the family of Mary Janes announces her passing on November 22, 2023, at the age of 89.

Born in Nova Scotia, Mary spent the majority of her career in the west, living at various times in Edmonton, Vancouver and Calgary.

Mary will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering ability to keep smiling and stay positive.  Everyone she interacted with left the experience better because of it.

She was predeceased by her husband Bill Janes; as well as her brother John Haskell; and sisters Edie Aker and Emma Fosdick.

As per her wishes, no service will be held.
