It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mark Peter Coffin 59, of Calgary, on August 31, 2022.

Mark was a kind and gentle soul who loved family, friends, music, and the simpler things in life. He is survived and will be deeply missed by his loving wife Lori Coffin (nee Robinson); daughters Shandy of Calgary, and Courtenay(Sabre); as well as grandson Max, all of British Columbia. Mark was predeceased by granddaughter Cadance Coffin.

The youngest son of Peter and the late Sheilah Coffin of Calgary, Mark was affectionately known as the Admiral by brothers Scot (Winetta) of  Nova Scotia, and Joe (Tammie) of Calgary. Always the joker, Mark is further survived by several nieces, and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. David Low and nurse Connie Chic of Unit 39 for their empathy and compassion, and to everyone who has sent kind messages and reached out to the family at this time.

The road is long,

With many a winding turn,

That leads us to who knows where.

It's never goodbye, it's until we meet again.

In accordance with Mark's wishes, cremation will take place. No services will be held.
