We sadly announce the peaceful passing of Luk Mui (Margaret) on Monday, December 4, 2023.

Margaret was born in Hong Kong on March 14, 1955. She was the second youngest of ten siblings. At a young age, Margaret loved to sing, dance and enjoy all sorts of cuisine. She completed her schooling in Hong Kong and later immigrated to Canada (Saskatoon), where she met her husband, Tommy Tse (deceased). Together they had two daughters, Elizabeth (deceased) and Tina.

Margaret volunteered at our elementary school (Vincent Massey School). She was loved by all the students and teachers. After raising two children, she embarked on a passionate career in cooking, until she retired in 2020.

Margaret moved to Calgary in 2009, reconnecting with her sister and family members. She shared a house with David and Deryk which she considered as her own sons. They shared many laughs and made many amazing meals together.

Mom, I miss you and every time I am in the kitchen, I will hear your laughter.
