Linda
Ganton
Feb 25, 1947 — Jul 4, 2023
It is with great sadness our family must say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Linda loved life and lived her life doing the things she loved, making her life, a story rich with love.
Above all, she loved her family! She was proud of her sons, Roger and Trevor, her daughter Angela, her grandson Tristan and granddaughter Thalia. She loved her dear sisters Diane and Jackie and their families. Not a day went by when she didn't speak with them in Winnipeg and Newfoundland.
Linda was very loved and will be missed deeply by her family. They will always remember how she made a big deal of the holidays; wanting to keep traditions alive and family close.
Linda loved to share memories of her experiences living in three provinces, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia, which usually included stories of her beloved pets. She made beautiful memories that her family will always hold close in their hearts.
Linda loved to travel when she could and made sure she didn't leave this world without seeing some of it, traveling from London and Paris to Amsterdam and California. She was always ready to enjoy a new adventure.
Linda loved to laugh, socialize with friends and play cards, especially cribbage and skunking her sons. She enjoyed watching her daytime soaps and listening to music, especially Elvis. Though in more recent years, country artist, Johnny Reid stole the show for her, seeing him three times in the past ten years.
Linda had a heart of gold and was loved by all those who knew her. Yes, her life was a story of love and we will never stop loving her. Rest in peace.
