Linda and Roberta were long time friends and room-mates for 41 years!  Linda met Roberta in 1980's while Marlene, Roberta's room-mate at the time, met Linda going door to door in the ministry.

Linda was an inactive sister of one of Jehovah's Witnesses that moved from New Brunswick to Calgary, Alberta in 1979.  Linda was then living with family and just renting a room.  Marlene offered to pick up Linda for the Sunday meeting the next day and that is when Roberta met Linda.

The two have been not only friends, but heartfelt sisters!  Linda and Roberta enjoyed doing many activities together such as playing tennis, walking from Dalhousie to Downtown Calgary, amusement rides in Bowness Park, and traveling to Disney Parks.  Linda LOVED Disneyland and the amusement parks.

In later years, Linda very much enjoyed watching r oller coaster v ideo D VD s !  It was her favorite and she got a kick out of watching them and feeling young again as if she was on the rides.

Linda enjoyed in her elderly years still being active as much as she could with cooking and enjoying her service time in ministry. Her favorite to make was gluten-free peanut butter chocolate chip cookies!  Her highlight of the month was going grocery shopping.  She really did enjoy getting out once in while due to her mobility issues.

We will very much miss Linda's sense of humor and loving nature.  She is deeply missed by Roberta and many of her friends in the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
