They don't make 'em like this anymore!

Leonard William Langford, 86, of Calgary, passed away at Foothills Medical Centre on December 17, 2023, surrounded by family. A husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a beloved 'Uncle Len' to his extended family, Leonard was a tireless worker and avid sports fan. Stricken with a particularly vicious form of arthritis early in life, Leonard faced down that challenge and any others that came across his path with strength, perseverance, and good nature in equal measure. Leonard was predeceased by his mother Josephine and father William, as well as sisters Betty Serbu and Margaret (Maggie) Demeule. Leonard was born September 12, 1937, in Edmonton, where, in 1966, he met and married the love of his life, Faith (Fay), who survives him. He is also survived by his son Joseph and daughter-in-law Tina, granddaughter Danielle, as well as brother-in-law Alan Mason, sister Doris Hannig, and brother Donald Langford.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cardiff Community Hall (Sturgeon County, 55320 Range Rd 251) on Saturday, January 27, 2023 (1:00 pm). We will mourn his passing. We will celebrate his life. And we will share some stories. Because they don't make 'em like this anymore.
