It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Ermine Neil(Pops) in Calgary, Alberta. He is survived by his life partner and best friend of 11 years Carol. Their children Kyssandra and Zain, Mike and Brenda, Ange, Luke, Joseph, Bella, Jordyn, Simon and Emelia. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Tegan, Kaidyn and Kiera as well as his 8 siblings, numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Charles & Annie Ermine and 18 siblings.

Pops as all the kids called him had numerous of the kids friends become his kids as well. He was the baby of 26 children. At a young age he was placed in foster care. At the age of 7 him and his brother Brian (1967-1996) were adopted by Margaret and Stuart Neil and their daughter Madelaine. After being adopted they had the opportunity to live in Saskatoon, Uranium City, Somalia, Scotland, New Jersey and New York.

Kevin had a career in Accounting. He opened up JC Golden Feather Inc where he helped people with their finances and saving money. He worked with businesses as well as personal. To him all of his clients and acquaintances were part of his family giving advice, guidance and in some cases just an ear to listen.

Kevin liked to laugh and make people laugh. He referred to himself as Kevin the Accountant. He loved to pick on anyone that he had the opportunity to as he would tell you that he did that to show that he loved you. He was caring, kind, compassionate and knew how to love and be loved.
