Sadly, after several years battling a variety of illnesses, Ken at the age of 74 has passed away. He was predeceased by his parents, Virgil and Margaret Rose.  Left to mourn are his wife, Sandra Rose; his son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Anna Rose; his sisters, Barbara Rose and Beverley (Dan) Rollier; numerous extended family members; and all those whose hearts he touched over the years.  Throughout his life Ken worked as a chemical technologist, service station owner, and transit driver.  Following his retirement from Calgary Transit, Ken became a gemstone dealer which provided him an opportunity to continue meeting new people.

Ken loved the outdoors, camping, and spending time at his summer retreat in BC.  With fun and spirit he always enjoyed a good competition and would gladly take your money playing cards. He was a generous, helpful, and honorable man with a great sense of humor.

He was much loved and will be dearly missed.
