Its with very heavy hearts, the family of Ken Knisely announce his passing January 11th, 2024 after a brief illness.

Born in Wilkie SK in July 1930 to Millie and Walter, he was the youngest of 3 boys. Brothers Don and Roy predeceased him. He married Gloria in 1953 who predeceased him in August 2009. They leave behind daughter Debbie (Richard), grandchildren Derek (Sandra) and Jennifer (Eric) as well as three great grandchildren, Calub, Charlotte and Sydney. Friends and family will always remember his love for music, playing his guitar and singing as well as teaching and performing line dancing. He also enjoyed the friendships he made with both the residents and staff of Silvera in Shawnessy and know he will be missed there.

Even though our hearts are filled with sadness right now, we know we have a lifetime of memories of the goodtimes we shared that will replace that sadness in the times ahead. A special thanks to Dr. Amir at the South Health Campus for his compassion and understanding at such a difficult time for us all. As per Dad's request there will be no service and in lieu of flowers, please donate to an animal shelter of your choice.
