Josephine "Josie "Brown passed away in Calgary after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband Norman in 2010. Josie  leaves behind to mourn her daughters Debra Brisbin (Dan) and Lori Metcalfe (Graham); her grandchildren Anthony Metcalfe (Lisa), Michael Metcalfe (Kenzie), Trevor Metcalfe (Alana), Rachael Brisbin (Jaime) and Zachary Brisbin; her sister Margaret Collier of Falmouth England; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Josie was born in Birmingham England and came to Canada for an 'adventure' with friends, wanting to travel for only a couple of years. Here she worked for the CIBC where she met her soul mate Norman and they were married for 52 years. She will be missed by all that knew her as she was a spunky little spitfire grandma with an amazing sense of humour, lust for travel and a pension for baking pies. We love you mom.
