We are saddened to announce the passing of John William Munt. He was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, on Sunday, February 15, 1942, and passed away in Calgary, Alberta on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, surrounded by family.

He went to Western Canada Highschool, after which he worked for many years on the oil rigs. He was employed at Natco Canada and Exchanger Industries. He curled and golfed, and enjoyed all sports.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Roberta Munt; his daughter, Joy Munt; and his son, Jeffrey John Munt. He was predeceased by his brother, Lorne Munt.

An open house will be held at 15 Bralorne Cres. SW Calgary , on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 12 pm - 5 pm. It is casual. Just come have a drink in his memory.
