Jo-Anne Bobyn passed away after a lengthy illness at Foothills Medical Centre on Monday, September 18th, 2023, at the age of 64 years. Jo-Anne entered the world in Melville, Saskatchewan, being the first child of Eileen and Oscar Miller. Jo-Anne met Dan Bobyn during her high school years in Saskatoon. She attended college to train and work as a bookkeeper. Jo-Anne and Dan were married on May 16th, 1981. After spending time in Saskatoon and Coquitlam, BC, they settled in Calgary in 1990 to bring up their three children.

Jo-Anne was predeceased by both her parents. She is survived by her husband Dan, brother Calvin (Beverly), three children Jessica Van De Walle (Brad), Matthew (Rebecca), and Kaitlyn, and grandchild Maverick (Jess and Brad).

Jo-Anne had a very warm heart and forgiving personality. She was selfless and practiced acceptance as a way of life. The most important thing to her was her family. She had a warmth that allowed new acquaintances to become immediate friends. She loved to garden, travel, and camp and she treated everyone she knew as extended family. She will be missed by many.
