Jay (Jaden) Mooney sadly took his own life on Thursday, December 8, 2022. He was the kindest person, with a heart bigger than anybody. Anybody who had been lucky enough to know him would have said the same. Jay knew who he was but always felt as though he wasn't accepted for who he was. In the end, he thought about everyone but himself. He loved snowboarding, playing PC games and was a huge fan of the Offspring.

He is survived by his parents, Marie Colbert and Shawn Mooney; step-parents William Sutton and Rebecca Malach; as well as his grandparents, Suzanne Brick, Lois Romney, and Brian Brick; great-grandparents Edmee and Allen Comstock and; his siblings, Jarod Colbert, Nicole Sutton, Brent Mooney, Taylor Mooney and her son (Jay's Nephew) Cruz Mooney. He was so loved by many. He is no longer in pain. Rest in Peace. You will forever remain in our hearts.
