Jasmin
Lavigne
Jan 10, 1980 — Jan 9, 2024
Our family is heartbroken to share the news of the sudden passing of Jasmin Lavigne (Jas) on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. A life tragically cut short just shy of his 44th Birthday.
Beloved son of Gilles Lavigne (predeceased) and Anna Lavigne (née Beland). Husband to Caroline Simard. Never to be forgotten and always loved by his brothers Ryan Lavigne (wife Brandy) and Denis Lavigne (predeceased), his grandparents Rachel Lavigne (predeceased) and Rheal Lavigne (predeceased), Beatrice & Eldon Mantha and Norman Beland (predeceased), nephews and nieces Jake, Reagan and Markus, as well as his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and close friends.
Jas called Calgary his home for the past 25 years but always missed his family in Ontario and longed to be reunited. He had a big personality and always made an impression. He loved playing the guitar, cooking, dirt bikes and his dog Boston who never left his side. Jas had a special place in his heart for the family camp and felt most at ease in nature and being outdoors.
While he will be forever loved here on Earth, we take comfort in knowing he is reunited with his Father, Brother and Memere in Heaven.
If our love alone could have saved him, he would have lived forever.
Join us for a Celebration of Life to share stories and remember Jas on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 4pm-7pm, at Cortina Pizza, (7 Cote Boulevard, Hanmer).
