On November 13th, 2021 Janice Joan Bell (née Cody) passed away suddenly in hospice after a strong fight against cancer.

Janice was a loving and free-spirited mother, songwriter and author who leaves a legacy behind full of laughter and singing. She is survived by three children; Vanessa Bell of Edmonton, Cody Bell of Calgary and Melissa Bell of Vancouver. She is also survived by several brothers, sister and sister-in-laws, and more.

Janice was born March 2nd, 1956 in Lethbridge, Alberta, to Grace and Donald Cody. Growing up on the Cody Farm she loved to play guitar and piano, and daydreamed all the stories she loved to write. In 2014 she self published her children's book "Wendy the Wish Fairy", a dream of hers she made come true after many years.

Janice was always someone who loved to make others smile or laugh, and always wanted to have a good time.

She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
