With great sadness, we announce that Gordon R. Marwick, of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 13, 2023, at the age of 93 years.

Bob served 25 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, was a Core of Commissionaire, a Parole officer, an accomplished snooker player, and loved spending time outdoors, camping across Canada and the USA. He was lovingly known as Popeye to all who knew him.

He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his brother Ernie Marwick; his sons, Robert Earl (Kim), and Brian Phillip (Sherry); daughters, Lorraine Carol Shaw (Gary), and Sandra Ann LaVallie (Rick); many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by the love of his life of 61 years, Phyllis Olivia (nee Bassenden), and son Donald Gordon Marwick.
