Glen Earl Wright was born April 10, 1959 to Clint Wright and Opal Wright in the town of Rimbey, Alberta. He spent his first few years growing up in Rimbey until the family moved to Drumheller, Alberta where he began school. Glen's family decided to move again to Innisfail, Alberta where he graduated from high school. After he had finished school Glen worked in Edmonton, Alberta, where his son, Daemion Wright was born. This followed by him moving to Red Deer, Alberta and then Hanna, Alberta where he begin working with his father Clint and brother Edward as a contractor in the oil and gas industry. While in Hanna Glen's daughter Ashley was born. They moved to Rockyford, Alberta to continue his career as a gas plant operator.

Glen is survived by his son Daemion his daughter Ashley (Trevor); his grandchildren Jayden, Annabella, and Taybias; his siblings Debbie (Dallas), Edward (Debra), Darlene (Mike), Christine (Brian); and his brother-in-law Myron (Diane Pre Deceased).

Glen Earl Wright passed away on June 21, 2020. He will always be remembered as we hear the sound of his guitar in the wind, and it will be him thinking of us. Glen was loved by many and missed by all who knew him.
