Obituary

Above all else, Glen enjoyed spending time with family. Camping, snow skiing, water skiing, dune buggies, motorcycles, dancing, playing cards it didn't matter as long as we were together. Growing up in Calgary he always wanted to be on a farm.  After marrying Carol and having three children, he bought an acreage with a barn full of chickens. He loved the country and our neighbors, but chicken farming was not all it was cut out to be. He decided to go into building campers and started Sundowner Camper Industries which he ran for 35 successful years.

In 2005 we moved to Calgary as the yard work was getting to be too much, we have been here for 17 years and love it. We purchased the property in 1995 and built a cabin at Mabel Lake B.C. Lots of our fondest memories come from there.  He enjoyed fishing but most of all sitting around the campfire with our wonderful neighbour's who soon became a large part of our family.

Glen was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in September 2020 and did his best to fight for a few more years. He lived life to the fullest, with lots of laughs and good times. We will miss him dearly.

Glen passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 2, 2022.

He is survived by his loving wife Carol of 63 year's; his son Bob (MaryAnn); daughters Peggy (Dave), Darlene (Rick); grandchildren Jason (Jenn) Ryan (Sabrina) Michelle (Josh) Scott, Troy (Samantha); great-grandchildren, Tyeson, Brenden, Ryker, Charlie and his beloved dog Maggie. He was predeceased by his parents Jack and Myfanway; brother Ron; and sister Dorothy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when we can all get together and have a rum and root beer in his honor.
