Glen Steven Horton (74), passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Glen is survived by his wife of 52 years Susan (McKinley) and his sons Ryan (Lynette) and Darryl (Gillian) and his grandchildren. Glen, originally from London Ontario, started a family with Susan in the Ottawa area. Glen began his career as a carpenter, working in construction and later as a millwright. In the late 1980s, he returned to school to retrain as an IT professional, eventually launching his own IT consulting business. After retirement, Glen and Susan moved west to Calgary to be closer to family.

Glen was a talented golfer and an accomplished photographer,  A devoted husband, a dedicated father,  a loving grandfather and a hard worker, Glen will be missed.

It was Glen's wish to have no services.  In lieu of flowers, a donation in his name to the Canadian Cancer Society or your Canadian Veterans Services Society would be appreciated.
