It is with profound sadness, that the family of Eric Allam, announces his sudden passing, on July 4, 2022, at the age of 36 years.

Mourning his sudden passing are his loving wife, Chantelle Allam, and his daughter Kali Allam; his parents Terry and Richard Allam; brother Stephen (Andrea) Allam, and their sons Zac and Caleb.

Eric's passing is also mourned by his in-laws, Paul Gamache, and Sheila (Keith) Toyne; sisters-in-law Angela (Carl) Metz, Lisa Gamache, and Elaine Gamache (Devin); aunts and uncles Brian and Judy Allam, Geoff and Barb Allam, Susan and Ken McLaren, Gerard Janssens; cousins Chris (Jessie) Allam, Cameron (Jenn) Allam, Carly (Mark) Agnew, Joel Allam (Danielle), Dean (Gracey) McLaren, Shawn McLaren, Jennifer (Bart) Janssens, David Janssens, Ashley Janssens and all of their children.

Also left to mourn his passing is his large community of friends, co-workers, and extended family.

Born on June 30, 1986, in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Eric lived and went to school in Ardrossan.  In 1996 the family moved to Calgary where he attended high school in Airdrie.

From a young age, Eric always kept the packaging to his toy collections because of the amazing graphics.  Posters and packages continued to clutter his room.  When introduced to computers he was hooked, and graphic design became his passion.  He graduated from the Graphic Communication program at SAIT and pursued a career in that field.

Eric and Chantelle began their relationship in 2014 and purchased their first home together the following year. Shortly after, they took home a puppy and celebrated their engagement. The engagement was followed by a marriage ceremony on September 18, 2016, and proceeded with a wedding celebration with friends and family in Punta Cana Dominican Republic on May 3, 2017.  A second dog was adopted in 2018. They welcomed their first child, Kali McKinley Allam on June 13, 2019.  They continued to grow in love and are expecting a baby boy in November 2022.

We love you Eric and you will always be in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Balzac Community Hall, 10075 AB-566, Balzac, AB on July 9, 2022, at 2:00 pm.  In true Eric fashion please wear something yellow, bright, or tropical.
