With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Carolyn Gray on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the age of 58 years.

Donna was taken from us unexpectedly and far too soon; left behind to mourn are her loving husband Bill, her son Randy of Calgary, and her daughter Shauna of Airdrie.

Donna was born on November 28, 1962, in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. As a young teenager, Donna moved to Kindersley, Saskatchewan where she completed her high school education and, while in high school, met Bill, who would later become her husband of nearly 40 years.  Donna and Bill welcomed their first child, Randy in 1987 born in Regina and their second child, Shauna who was born in 1990 in Saskatoon. Donna loved being a mom and a wife and there was always time for her family. She was the most selfless and giving person we knew, and was generous to a fault. There was never any hesitation for her to do without something, in order to ensure someone else would not to have to go without.

Donna spent most of her career days working in customer service roles with various firms and spending the last approximately 15 years with the Alberta Treasury Branch (ATB) call centre in Calgary and living in Airdrie. Over the years, Donna fostered many friendships with her co-workers and colleagues that have lasted for years.

Donna loved children so always looked forward to Halloween and seeing all the little kids out in their costumes and laughing out loud when some kids would sneak back for a 'second' trick or treat. Like many, Christmas, which was her favourite time of year, usually began in early November with making fruit cakes, tarts and other goodies. She loved to bake and cook and was amazing at both so nothing was left out for the holidays. Christmas morning she was always the first one to rise to make sure everything was "perfect" for her family then get everyone else up, no matter what time it was!

Donna will sorely be missed by family and friends. Donna's final wishes to not have a formal funeral ceremony will be respected. Her immediate family will honour her memory in private.
