David Edward Neuman, a beloved father and friend, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2024. Born on September 29, 1966, David lived a life filled with passion, adventure, and a genuine desire to help others.
David was a man of many talents. He had a lifelong fascination with building and creating, always having a project to work on. He loved working on machines with expertise ranging from small engines to massive drilling rigs. A mechanic for many years with General Motors, he soon after built his own business doing exteriors, then went on to work in the oil field, having worked in half a dozen countries while working as a driller on some of the biggest oil rigs in the world. He knew three languages, being well traveled with many stories of his adventures, from Kenya to Mexico, Libya to Saudi Arabia, across Europe, and many other places.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, David was known for his unwavering kindness and generosity. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and would go out of his way to assist those in need. His positive impact on the lives of others was immeasurable.
In his free time, David found joy in playing guitar and listening to rock and roll. He was also an avid traveler, sharing countless stories of his adventures with friends and family. He loved his coffee, spending time with his son, and riding his bike. He had a passion for cars, with old school corvettes being his favourite. He always positive and you could always catch him with a smile on his face.
David is survived by his son and his beloved "grand dog," Rocky. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
