It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Hawryluk on December 4, 2021, at the age of 75. Dave is survived by Drena, his loving wife of 42 years; sons Jeff (Genna) Hawryluk and Ryan (Kristal) Hawryluk; six grandchildren Joey, Gabriella, Chloe, Charlee, Kennedy, and Brady; brother Michael (Janet) Hawryluk; sisters Maxine Sawchuk, Sandra Dunham, Kim (Doug) Bach and Odette Hawryluk as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Dave was born on November 28, 1946, in Saint John, NB, and moved to Alberta in his early teens. He spent his working years in the construction trade and was especially passionate about finishing carpentry. He enjoyed woodworking, movies, all genres of music, and country dances, but most of all he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. Dave was predeceased by his parents John Hawryluk and Marie Hawryluk; brothers Vern Hawryluk and John Hawryluk; sister Marie MacKinnon; and brother-in-law Jack Sawchuk. No funeral service will be held at Dave's request.
