It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Larios Alvarado. At the age of 72, David of Calgary, AB passed away peacefully on November 26, 2020 in Rosedale Hospice.

David was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Heberto Alvarado and Julia Larios on June 30, 1948. David came to Canada in 1982 and has resided in Alberta for the majority of all of his years in Canada the last 20 years of which was spent in Calgary, Alberta.

David is survived by his common-law Avis Francis; his children Evelyn Alvarado (Julio Fuentes), Zulma Alvarado, Carrie-Lynn Francis (Hassan Diriye), Augusto Alvarado, and Charlie Francis; his grandchildren Paolo Alvarado, Vanessa Alvarado, Shaelyn Diriye, Mindy Alvarado, Darlyn Alvarado, Alexander Alvarado, Enrique Alvarado, Roxana Alvarado, Jordyn Francis, Alyssah Francis, Nickolas Francis, and Kayla Vincent. His siblings Dora Alvarado, Beatriz Alvarado, and Rafael Alvarado. As well as many special family, co-workers and friends that were close to his heart.

Unfortunately, due to Covid19 no services will be held at this time.

David leaves us with this quote from Elvis;
