It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Daisy Burnett, of Calgary, on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at the age of 98 years.

Daisy was born on January 29, 1925, in Tadworth, Surrey, England, and was one of seven children. She was a war bride and arrived in Canada in 1946.

She enjoyed knitting for her children and grandchildren, as well as camping with our Dad and family. She enjoyed going Christmas shopping and buying gifts for everyone. Daisy loved her stuffed animal collection.

Daisy is survived by her children, Julie, Peter, Gerald, Ronald, and Robert; grandchildren, Rachelle, Craig, Drew, Robert, Emma, Noah, and Anthony; great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Peter Anderson Burnett.

A Funeral Service will be held at Varsity Acres Presbyterian Church (4612 Varsity Dr. NW) on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Please join the family for refreshments following.
