Christopher John Schiaroli, age 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at the Southwood Hospice in Calgary Alberta.

Chris was born in April of 1953 and was the first of the nine children in his family. Chris was known as the life of a party and could brighten any room with his smile and incredible sense of humor. He had a passion for sports, especially hockey, which he spent his life enjoying during his 30 years of working for the Calgary Flames.

Chris was a family man loved by all and was considered a father or an uncle figure to so many who looked up to him. As the eldest of nine children, he grew up being a protector and spent most of his life caring for others, having incredible reach over his lifetime to countless family, friends, and friends who became family. He was an incredibly happy man full of love and passion for life and believed that every moment was worth celebrating.

Chris is survived by his mother Maria; his wife of 37 years, Carol; and his two children, Chris Jr., and Cassandra. Chris is also survived by his six grandchildren, Eric, Cole, Lucas, Adam, Dominic, and Amelia; and his eight siblings Anna, Gerry, John, Louisa, Elio, Rosa, Tony, and Robert.
