Caroline
Mah
Sep 22, 1941 — Nov 21, 2025
Born in China, Guangdong (广东), Kaiping (开平), Baihe (百合). Caroline emigrated to Canada in her late teens with her husband.
She worked many jobs and long hours to support her family and give them a good life. Family was more important to her than anything else. She constantly doted on her children and grandchildren. Caroline's love and generosity to all her family was both unconditional and unlimited.
Her love language was food. Caroline always had a pot of soup boiling on her stove and our favourite home cooked meals every time we visited. On holidays, she went overboard cooking for days beforehand. Every meal was special to her.
Caroline was not only hilariously funny, but also feisty, strong and independent. She loved outings with friends, gardening, dancing and Tai Chi, and travel. Caroline is predeceased by her husband Yen Hong Mah; her mother Yuk Seto; her father; and her brother Kit Man Woo.
She is survived by her sons Kenneth (Eva) and Barry (Sharon); her daughters Carol (Doug) and Jennifer (Grant); her grandchildren Kelsey, Ethan, Jason (Katie), Jessica (Jeff), Jillian, James, Ryan (Emily), Cara (Bret), Dayle and Martie. As well as her great-grandchildren Lucas, Hazel, Zoey, Leni, and Cyrus.
She was a devoted mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and friend. Caroline will be deeply missed.
