Brennen Sherman
Shirley
Sep 12, 1994 — Apr 11, 2020
With deepest sorrow, we announce that Brennen Sherman Shirley, a beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed suddenly on Saturday, April 11, 2020 in his sleep.
Brennen, Baby J, was born September 12, 1994 in Saskatoon. Although only 25 at the time of his passing, Brennen touched many hearts in his lifetime. Those who knew Brennen, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.
He was a Glazier at Ferguson. He just completed his repelling certificate and was set to finish his journeyman this spring which was delayed due to the pandemic.
Brennen had an exuberant personality and was the life of the party. He was smart, quick-witted and could always put a smile on your face. Brennen was very strong willed, passionate and he was a free spirit. He wore his heart on his sleeve, was kind and compassionate, and he was there when you needed him. Brennen was sensitive yet he could be hesitant to forgive quickly. Brennen had great friends, he spent much of his free time with them as they were a huge part of his life. He had a special bond with his gramps, Sherman, they enjoyed laughing, teasing one another, riding in the Corvette and gardening.
Brennen will be missed everyday by his mother Angie Johnson; his brother Easton Berrns; his father Trevor Shirley and his wife Shannalee; his sister Ashlynn; his brothers Liam and Ethan; his his grandparents: Albert & Marilyn Shirley and Sherman & Lorna Johnson; his great grandmother Berna Johnson; as well as extended family and many, many great friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date once we are all able to celebrate together.
In lieu of flowers spend extra time with your family and friends. Give them a 30 second hug, make a toast to friendships lifelong and beyond. Strive to be happy, healthy and loved. This is what Brennen would wish for you.
