Bill James Meunier passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 60 years old in Calgary, Alberta.

He was born December 26, 1963 to Bill Drover and Shirley Banks, in Loretteville, Quebec.

He bought his first townhouse in Abbotsford, in 1990. He moved to Calgary a few years later, buying a home there and eventually building his own home in 2003. In 2024, he purchased his final home and was renovating it to his liking.

He began his first job in finishing at Premium Forest Products when he was eighteen; which would later lead him to starting two separate companies, the latter being Bigfoot Building Products in 2003. From the ground up he built his empire to which he devoted time, effort, and care.

He loved fishing throughout his life, and would get out on the water every chance he got. He loved taking his family and friends out on the water to fish. He purchased his first boat when he was nineteen. He took an annual fishing trip to Chilliwalk BC and would fish primarily along the Vedder River but would also fish in the Stave and Fraser Rivers.

He had a passion for cars and owned and rebuilt many through the years. He had the "Gone in 60 seconds' car, a 67' Ford Mustang. He rebuilt an all original 1970 Hemi Orange Challenger and won second place in the World of Wheels in 2018.

He collected rare vintage coins and paper currency. He also loved gold, gems, and mineral stones.

He was a quietly generous man, and would often help friends, family, colleagues, and strangers. He donated to many organizations, and often sponsored children's sports teams.

Bill is survived by his fiancé Winnie. His children; Brittany, Miranda, James, and Christopher. His twin; Beccy, his brother Don, and his father; Bill. And countless friends and colleagues.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Megan, his mother Shirley, and his siblings; Derek, Joe, and Edith.

As Bill would say; "Let's Rock n' Roll!"
