Barbara Lawson passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the age of 82 years.

She spent the first half of her life in Toronto, Ontario, and the second half in Okotoks and Turner Valley, Alberta. Over the years, Barb and Don had part-time residences in Duluth Minnesota and Houston, Texas. She and Don drove truck all through Canada and the US. They had a great love for animals and always had at least two dogs, many were rescued. She enjoyed reading and visiting friends.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jim and Sue Thompson, Duane and Sherri Thompson, Sherry and Keith Williams, Kimily Brown, and Kelly and Allen Mackay; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Lorenzo and Edna Gosse; and her husband Don Lawson.
