It is with heavy broken hearts and eyes full of tears that we sadly announce the sudden passing of our son, grandson, nephew, friend, confidant, and mentor Austin Michael Caron. Austin passed away in his sleep on May 13, 2021 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 23 years old. Austin was a one-of-a-kind person that loved to talk and be very social. If you were ever fortunate enough to have a conversation with him you would leave the conversation thinking about it for days and wondering what did he really mean by that! And that is exactly what Austin would want you to think. He loved politics and was very passionate about the subject. Even if you weren't interested in politics, after having a conversation with Austin, you suddenly were interested and wanted to learn more. He was exceptionally smart. You will never meet another Austin.

Left behind to grieve our special boy, is his mom Tammy Cotton; his stepdad Robert Cotton; his dad Darryl Rosengreen; his little but big brother Connor Caron; his sister DeElla Cotton; and brother Sam Rosengreen. Austin will also be missed by his Grandpa Bert Snider; his Grandpa Marcel Caron; and his Grandma Lynn Rosengreen. Austin also leaves behind his Aunt Shelley Rutledge and Uncle Bob Rutledge (Melanie and Curtis), Aunt Annette Caron, and Aunt Melanie Caron. Austin will always be remembered and forever thought of by many special family members and friends who will never understand why his life was cut so short.

Austin is predeceased by his very special Grandma Louise Snider. Austin and Grandma had a special bond like no other. It makes our hearts feel a bit better knowing that Austin and Grandma are back together having a big long conversation. Grandma will be happy to be able to hug her special boy again. Also, predeceased by his special Grandpa Morris Rosengreen.

A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2:00pm. A reception will follow at Okotoks Elks Club at 4:00pm.
