Obituary

It is with sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Allan Hamm. He is now with Jesus in heaven. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Betty, four children Jackie, Geri, Wayne, and Priscilla and his sister, Hazel, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Allan also leaves behind six nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and nephews. He grew up in Elbow, Saskatchewan and joined the Navy at 17 years old (after his Dad signed for him). He served a little over three years and upon his return married the love of his life. They were married 56 1/2 years and enjoyed travelling around the globe. With more than seventy first cousins, there was always someone for them to visit. He worked many jobs, the foremost being a journeyman welder for Canada Packers in Calgary, then as a Security Guard for the RCMP in Winnipeg (his favourite job!) His love of life, good nature, great laugh, and sense of humour will be missed so much by his family, friends and those whose lives he touched.
